US Weather Spotlight: 11-6-18

One large low pressure system will produce much of the weather today as it moves from the Great Lakes today to eastern Quebec by Wednesday morning. Widespread rains will move from the Great Lakes to New England with some shower and storm activity extending well to the south into the southeastern states. On the western side of this system parts of ND and northern MN start as snow and have the greatest chance of picking up a few inches through tonight and then areas in eastern MN, northern WI and UP of MI will start as rain with a gradual changeover to snow with mainly an inch possible in those areas.  Winds will be quiet breezy as well across the northern Plains where gusts could get in the 35-45 mph range at times.
